One of our school trustees, Eden Haythornthwaite, very kindly sends us various reports and commentaries on the progress, or lack thereof, in public education in the Cowichan Regional District, of which we on Thetis are a part. Although our own school is not currently slated for closure, many other small schools are, and it is well to be aware of their situation, to support them when we can.
