The Thetis Island Community Church

is a gathering of Islanders who regularly worship together at the Community Centre each Sunday at 10AM.

We enjoy a variety of guest speakers and "on screen" sermons as well as informal sharing and discussion.

We support two mission groups, North American Indigenous Ministries (Local First Nations), and Precious Jewels Ministries, (to children and families at risk in the Philippines and Uganda).

We have an informal dress code so please feel free to come as you are.

Our basic tenants of belief are Bible based, and summed up in the Apostles Creed:

I believe in God the Father Almighty,
      Maker of heaven and earth;

And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord;
      who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
      born of the Virgin Mary,
      suffered under Pontious Pilate,
      was crucified, dead, and buried;
      the third day He rose again from the dead
      He ascended into heaven,
      and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father almighty;
      from thence he will come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
      the Church universal,
      the communion of saints,
      the forgiveness of sins,
      the resurrection of the body,
      and the life everlasting.
